Getting to Know Me

Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is ________. I am a new student here at ________ Junior Middle School. I am very excited to be starting my first year of middle school and I look forward to making many new friends.

My Hobbies and Interests

When I am not studying, I like to spend my free time doing a variety of activities. One of my favourite things to do is read books, especially mystery novels. I also enjoy playing sports, particularly basketball and badminton. I have been playing basketball for two years and I find it a great way to stay active and healthy. Besides that, I also have a passion for music. I often spend time listening to different genres of music such as pop and rock. Every now and then, I like to sing karaoke with my family.

My Goals for this School Year

My main goal for this school year is to improve my English skills. I want to be able to communicate better with my classmates and teachers. I plan to achieve this goal by reading English books and practicing speaking and writing as much as possible. Another goal that I have is to participate in more extracurricular activities. Whether it be joining a club or trying out for a sports team, I want to be more involved in school activities this year. I believe this will help me make friends and also improve my overall experience at junior high.
